Privacy Policy

Home Design Ideas (homedesignideas.app) is operated by Webdeb Limited (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Browsing the site's designs, guides, and other public pages doesn't require an account. If you do create one, or use the AI Home Designer, we collect:

• Analytics data via Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, approximate location (derived from IP address, not precise location), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site (e.g. search, Pinterest, a direct link). This is aggregated and not tied to your name or email.
• Search behaviour via Google Search Console, which tells us which search terms led people to the site — this data comes from Google, not from tracking you directly.
• Account data, if you sign up — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) the name and profile picture Google shares with us. We also record the approximate location (city/region/country, derived from IP address, not GPS) and IP address at the moment you sign up, for fraud/abuse prevention.
• Room photos you upload to the AI Home Designer — stripped of EXIF metadata (which can include GPS location) before storage, kept private to your account by default, and sent to Black Forest Labs’ API (our AI image-generation provider) to produce your redesign. If you use the “Share” feature on a specific result, that one image becomes publicly accessible via a link you choose to share — see Terms of Service.
• Payment information, if you buy AI Designer credits — processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We do keep a record of the purchase amount, credits granted, and Stripe’s payment reference, for accounting and support purposes.

How we use information

To operate your account and the AI Home Designer, process payments, understand which content is useful, fix broken pages, and decide what to build or write next. We do not sell your information, and we do not run advertising that tracks you across other sites.

Third-party services we use

• Google Analytics & Google Search Console — traffic and search analytics
• Google (Sign in with Google) — authentication, if you choose that sign-in method
• Vercel — hosts the website and application
• Cloudflare — hosts and delivers images, including your private AI Designer uploads/results
• Supabase — stores account, credit, and application data, and handles authentication
• Black Forest Labs — receives room photos you upload, solely to generate your AI redesign
• Stripe — processes AI Designer credit purchases
• Resend — sends account emails (password reset, sign-up confirmation)
• A self-managed WordPress installation — stores the design and guide content

None of these providers receive your name or email unless you create an account or make a purchase.

Your rights

You can email support@homedesignideas.app at any time to ask what information we hold about you, or to request it be deleted. If you are in the UK or EU, this reflects your rights under GDPR; we apply the same standard to everyone regardless of location. A self-service delete/export flow from within your account isn’t built yet — email is the way to do this today.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, note it on the homepage.
